Toro Development Ltd., the founder and organizer of Mobile Monday Taipei, is transferring the event organization to Yushan Ventures.  The next event on Mobile & Smart Device Security will be held by Yushan Ventures on April 8th, from 6:30 to 9pm.

Mobile Monday events are held around the globe to assist mobile developers and visionaries in building partnerships, understanding the global mobile marketplace, and facilitating innovation.

Toro, the former organizer, has developed a strong Mobile Monday community, sparked with positive energy and innovative ideas.  Laurent Renard, CEO says, “We are proud of seeing how the community has come together and the indubitable demand for Mobile Monday in Taiwan.  Toro will remain involved as Emeritus member for future events.”

Hope everyone had a great Moon Festival! I am excited to announce our next great Mobile Monday event will be on this Monday, September 27^th. Anthony Hu, the Asia Pacific (APAC) Regional Developer Relationship Group Manager of Software Solutions Group of Intel Corporation will be our keynote speaker.

Mr. Hu is in charge of the Intel Software Developer Program for APAC software solutions providers’ account relationship with Intel. Anthony previously served as the Strategic Relationship Manager at Intel Taiwan, and managed the Intel Taiwan Solution Provider Program to enable developers and solution providers to deliver Business Solutions on the Intel platform.

The keynote presentation will discuss MeeGo, and broader topics on Intel’s AppUP center and Intel AppUP Developer Program.“AppUP center is a new channel for software developers can sell their innovated applications into Netbook and later all Intel consumer target devices, Intel AppUP Developer Program, used to call Intel Atom Developer Program, is the place for software developer to start join AppUP center. We will start with a brief introduction about this program, and then follow with an open discussion.�
