akami suite™

akami suite™ is an NFC wallet application platform for the porting and distribution of NFC services. Its widget-based architecture allows fast application(widget) development, and cross OS-platform deployment of any NFC services (E.g. proximity payment, transport, ticketing, loyalty, coupons, etc.). This complete mobile software suite includes a mobile client, a widget system with its corresponding SDK, application servers, smartposter management, and an appstore for end-users.

Main features of akami suite™

I. Cross-OS platform:

akami wallet™ works on most mobile OS (J2ME, Blackberry, Android, Symbian - Bada, Windows phone and iPhone are under development). Toro manages the porting, the testing, and the maintenance of the mobile client for all the different OS platforms. This includes the maintenance of versions for each phone model, and the adaptation to specific phone features (screen size, touchscreen for smartphones, keyboard for feature phones, etc.). akami wallet™ also supports by default all the types of secure elements (embedded, SWP SIM, microSD).

II. Dynamic widget system:

akami suite™ is a dynamic system whereby the owner of the platform (e.g. a MNO or a bank) has the ability to modify the services (add/remove), and the contents (update, modify), after akami wallet™ has been deployed. akami wallet™ is indeed a runtime that allows post-issuance by means of widgets (small independent applications, downloadable in the akami environment).

III. Multi-interface:

On the front-end side, akami suite™ includes smart-posters, mobile and web interfaces for a complete user-experience. In the back-end, the servers interface with the TSM ecosystem by means of APIs.
