akami widgets™ :

akami widgets™ are small NFC applications that run on top of akami wallet™. It can be secure services like NFC payment, or non-secure services like coupons, loyalty, etc.

The widgets make use of the resources of akami wallet™ (runtime environment), and provide a user interface to the cardlets installed on the secure element of the NFC phone. In a broader view, akami widgets™ allow service providers to distribute their NFC services across all phone platforms.

Widgets only need to be developed once and maintained in one version, and  they are available for all the akami wallet™ users(feature phones, enterprise phones, smartphones). For additional security, akami widgets™ carry a certificate.

akami SDK™ :
akami SDK™ is the tool that NFC application developers use to create akami widgets™. This SDK is available for the Eclipse development framework, and features a UI simulator.
